RemoteTap v2.0 will be available on the App Store soon, and be a free upgrade for all v1.6 users!
RemoteTap 2 is a new kind of remote management client for Macs. Watch the screen of any Mac in your local network or over the Internet, control its keyboard, mouse, applications, and windows right from your iPhone and iPod Touch.
The innovations in RemoteTap 2 address and solve the two biggest issues VNC-like applications have on small screen devices: the high amount of scrolling required to navigate around the screen, and the inaccuracy of mouse clicks.
NEW IN VERSION 2: AUTOFOCUS
Tired of scrolling between different windows, alert panels, and menus? Let RemoteTap do the scrolling for you. It automatically focuses on the active window, zooming and scrolling the screen to make it fit. It even remembers the last zoom and scroll values for each window. Imagine this:

a) in Mail, zoom and scroll to the area you wish, then double click on a mail b) the mail window opens and is automatically zoomed and scrolled to fit the screen c) zoom within the mail to read it d) close the mail, RemoteTap will automatically zoom and move back where you started.
This also works for menu windows and between different application. If you remote control multiple applications with multiple windows, you’ll love Autofocus. Take a look at the Autofocus Tutorial for more examples.
NEW IN VERSION 2: MAGNIFYING GLASS
Tired of trying to position the mouse cursor precisely? Let RemoteTap help you. Touch and hold in RemoteTap and within half a second a magnifying glass will appear showing the area around the mouse position in 4x zoom. Click, double click, or drag within the magnifying glass. Imagine this:

a) you want to click the window close button, tap and hold for half a second b) the magnifying glass will appear, click into it for pixel precise clicks c) or, you want to select a text, tap and hold until the magnifying glass appears, then tap and hold d) then drag to the end
APPLICATION CONTROL VIEW
Tired of scrolling around to launch, hide, or quit an application? Let RemoteTap do this work for you. Tap on the “Apps” button, and a list of all running (or all Dock / all) applications will transparently overlay the screen. Launch, hide, or quit any application with a single click. Imagine this:

a) tap on the “Apps” button, the app launcher will appear indicating Mail as the active app b) click on iTunes to make it the active app c) click on the yellow button to hide iTunes d) with iTunes hidden, Mail will be the active application again
