Setup Apple AirPort (old 802.11g)


Launch Apple’s “AirPort Admin Utility” and login to the base station. Select “Network”. If “Share a single IP address using (DHCP and NAT)” is not selected, no further setup is required.

Select “Port Mapping” and click “Add”. Type the RemoteTap port number (default is 5902) as both the public and private port. Use the remote Mac’s IP address as “Private Address”. Click “OK”.

The window should look like this. Click “Update” to restart the base station with the new setup.
