Let the countdown begin – Nobu Hospitality is opening their Nobu Restaurant in Toronto Canada this Summer! That is right, the newest and first Nobu Restaurant in Canada will be available to the public come July 2023. Even better, this will not be a standalone restaurant.
The Nobu Toronto restaurant will live within two floors of the Nobu Residences with full panoramic views and outdoor seating. This swanky establishment will be located between 15-35 Mercer Street – the heart of Toronto’s entertainment district. The two residency towers will consist of 45 floors and almost 700 units. Thirty-six of these units will be luxury hotel suites, while the remaining 600+ will be residencies. Talk about living the suite life! Nobu Residences are scheduled to open in the Fall of 2023.
A Quick Nobu Backstory
Nobu is one of the most distinguished hospitality brands in the world. Chef Nobu Matsuhisa, Robert De Niro, and Meir Teper (in partnership with Drew Nieporent) began their journey in 1994. What started out as a single restaurant in Los Angeles, has now become 50 restaurants and 13 hotels worldwide. The hospitality group is known for their sleek, upscale atmosphere, their top-tier service – and, most importantly, their exceptional Japanese fusion cuisine. Nobu’s unparalleled dining experience always leaves guests wanting more.
What To Expect
obu Toronto will not stray from the hospitality group’s typical vibe. Expect a polished, modern interior design that screams luxury. The Nobu dining menu will be equally as extraordinary, presenting the classic, favorites like rock shrimp tempura and black cod miso. The Nobu chain does not tamper much with the menu from location to location. There will be a similar list of hot and cold starters featured, as well as an option for an omakase dining experience.
How does this space differ from the remaining Nobu locations? Nobu Toronto will take over two-stories and 15,000 square feet. The restaurant will include an outdoor space, signature bar lounge, and spectacular private dining rooms.
